Welcome to the Literacy with ICT Mentoring Institute 

Manitoba Education, Citizenship, and Youth

For the next 4 days, we will explore ways to become mentors for our colleagues. As mentors, you will assist your peers in identifying ways that technology can strengthen classroom curriculum and enhance students’ academic achievement. You will also help your colleagues to develop the necessary technology skills and instructional strategies needed to infuse technology into teaching and learning.

During the Sessions, we will focus on learning about:

• Mentoring skills (communications and collaboration)
• ICT infusion
• Designing learning experiences that actively engage students, and promote critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills
